LinkedUp docs: routing pump.fun creator fees to LinkedIn profiles
Everything the router does, in the order it does it.
What LinkedUp does
LinkedUp channels pump.fun creator fees to LinkedIn creators. Anyone can launch a token and point its creator fees at a linkedin.com/in/ profile. The creator does not need an account, a wallet, or to know the token exists. When they want to collect, they sign in with LinkedIn and tell us where to send it.
Launching a token
- You fill in a name, ticker, image, an optional description, and the LinkedIn profile that should get paid.
- You make one payment to the treasury (
) that covers your dev buy plus a SOL network reserve. The LinkedUp launch fee is currently SOL. - The treasury creates the token on pump.fun with itself as the creator and executes the dev buy. The tokens from that buy are sent straight to your wallet.
- The token is registered with the router, tagged to the profile you chose. We append "Fees to linkedin.com/in/<handle> via LinkedUp" to the description so the routing is visible on pump.fun.
How fees are attributed
pump.fun pays the creator a fee on every trade (about % of volume in this preview). Because the treasury is the creator of many tokens, those fees arrive in one place. The router indexes trades for every registered token, and when it claims, the claimed amount is split across tokens proportionally to the volume each one produced since the last claim. Each token's share is then credited to its LinkedIn profile.
The 80 / 20 split
| Share | Goes to | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| % | The LinkedIn creator | Valued in USD at the time of the claim, so the balance shown is stable even if SOL moves. |
| % | LinkedUp | Runs the router, pays for claims, payout transactions and indexing. |
Payout thresholds
Payouts are not continuous. A creator's balance is paid out each time it crosses the next threshold, which keeps transaction costs sensible for small balances and lets bigger earners get paid often:
→ every $1,000 after that.
A payout requires a linked wallet. If a creator crosses a threshold before linking one, nothing is lost: the balance keeps accruing and the payout is sent on the next claim after they link.
Signing in and linking a wallet
- The creator goes to Claim and signs in with LinkedIn. We read the profile URL from LinkedIn and match it against every token that routes fees to that handle.
- They see everything credited to them so far, per token, and the payout history.
- They paste any Solana wallet address, or use the wallet they connected in the top bar. It can be changed at any time; future payouts go to the new address.
Connecting a wallet
The Connect wallet button in the top bar supports Phantom, Solflare and Backpack. If the extension is installed, LinkedUp connects to it and reads your public key and balance. If not, the preview simulates a wallet so every flow still works. A connected wallet is used to pay for launches, receives the dev-buy tokens, and can be used as the payout address on the Claim page with one click.
Current status
localStorage. Nothing is sent on chain and no wallet is needed. Use Me → Reset preview data to start over.FAQ
Can I launch a token for a profile that isn't mine?
Yes. That is the point. The creator only needs to sign in when they want to collect. Until then their balance simply accrues.
What if someone else signs in claiming to be that profile?
Sign-in goes through LinkedIn's own OAuth. We only trust the profile URL LinkedIn returns, never a typed handle. (The preview lets you type one so you can see the flow.)
Why are earnings shown in USD?
Each claim is valued in USD at claim time and thresholds are in USD. Payouts are sent in SOL at the price when the payout executes.
Does LinkedUp take any of the dev buy?
No. The dev buy is executed in full and the tokens are sent to the launcher's wallet. The launch fee is SOL.
Is LinkedUp affiliated with LinkedIn or pump.fun?
No.
